Unless it's a trail only rig I don't think anyone's running them in the front.

i wanted to lock my diffs front and rear and still keep it streetable

It is fine up front!   Most of the time when you are on the street, your hubs are unlocked so nothing is turning.   Unless you live in an area where you keep it in 4wd all winter long it is not an issue.

i have it in the rear only, and it kicks arse. I've read that in the front its still better to go with a selectable locker

ARB is way out of my price range. im thinkin about aussie in front for now and eventually detriot the rear

Im running ausie front amd detroit rear. Love it! I do have hydro assist. That makes a huge difference on the trail. I actually prefer that set up. That way i dont have to worry about air lines or e lockers not working.
83 shorbed pickup. 22 re swap. Dual ultimates, l52hd tranny, 5 " marlin trailflex lift. Yukon 529. Grizzly in rear zip locker front. And a bunch of other stuff....

Love my Aussie in the front. Way better than a lock rite I had in there. I have a Detroit in the rear. DDed it for 2 years like that. One year on 33s and another on 37s. If I did it again I'd put a ARB or Elocker in the rear.
