Hi all-

As I am planning my build I have realized time and time again that there is so much more to learn. I have come to the conclusion that I don't know enough about axles/housings/diffs to answer these questions on my own- so I'm turning to you all for some help.

I would like to run the Toyota E-lockers in both the front and rear of my 79 pickup. That being said, there are a couple of questions that I have:
1) Is this possible? (literally- can you use a rear diff for the front? does it matter?)
2) Has this been done before?
2) What modifications would need to be done to my axles to make these work?
3) Will the gears in the diffs need to be changed? (G52 dual case trans)

Thank you a bunch in advance  :D

1) Yes, it's possible. You can run standard pinion in the front or rear and keep hp on the front
2) Yes, been done many times before.
3) You'll need to notched and tap/drill
4) You can run whatever gear you like. Can't run hp gear in standard pinion setup
Going, going, gone
