Wheelin near Bass Lake?

Is there any good wheelin in the Bass Lake (CA) area? I am going to be up there Sept 2-6 and I a wondering if I should bring my rig.

There's Chepo that's right near the lake, as well as miles of back country roads.  Lots of scenic places to go near there.

Nice pictures...it just kills me, that I would have to go to California in order to see California. There is some serious gorgeous country out there.

where exactly is that in relation to the lake??
From Hwy 41, take Rd 222 to the top of the hill after the passing lanes.  On the left is Chepo Saddle Rd approximately 3/4 mile past Pettit Rd.  Take that road to the trails.  There are a ton of different trails in there to choose from.  Don't forget to take your USGS map.
