:headscratch: Anyone heard of the new xtreme 4x4 show on spike tv?  I just seen an add in my magazine about it and checked out the website http://www.xtreme4x4tv.com/. It started in January.  I havent watched it yet but now that I know about it I wanna try and catch an episode.

Yup is on Power Block...damn that Danika is hot.  It is OK but they build a lot of the same old high-dollar/ showroom floor kinda crap.  They are building an aluminum jeep...called AJ (they named it after me) and they ordered evcerything from dynatrac, Currie, etc.  Even had the frame custom made with all the lift kit brackets integrated.  It just became a huge expensive bolt-on project.   ::)

Back on topic:

The show sucks how can they call it extreme? extreme what? What happened to Tough Truckin'? at least that show had some crawling and desert racing coverage. It will be interesting when (if) they build the F-Toy, we'll see if it gets any better. But for now I give the show 2 wrists down  :stopit:  :stopit:

I concur...no "real" trucks in that show.  Maybe the Ironman just didn't have the hosting skills to bring in a good audience.

i saw the first epesode where they took a dodge with the cummins and put bags on it so now it acts like on of those DAM^ lowriders. one question why? i say they need to have a truck show with no show runner trucks i know some ppl on this board would use their trucks on a show that shows you how to install a functional 4 link or how to install an onboard compressor for you trail rig and then take them out and actually USE THEM (i know i know what a concept that they use the product like it was designed) oh well i guess real trucks arent pretty enough for national TV

Honestly I think Four Wheeler TV and Superlift Off Road Adventures are better :yesnod: .  They actualy show real trucks getting a real beatting :circle: .  By the way anybody see that video footage on FourWheeler TV for reader of the week footage. :o,  A blue jeep rolled eight times from the top of patato salad hill.  Everybody was ok but the jeep was trashed. :rivers:

I think it is ok.  It is something to watch that is not a rerun, yet.  They call project AJ a budget buildup.  But all of the parts are comeing from Dynatrac and currie and crap that people can't afford.  How is is supposed to be on a budget?  Maybe a budget of 20 grand or so.

I agree that the show sucks....
They produce alot of high dollar show trucks. How about some real world krawlers..
You know..... :hammerhead:

:shudder:  :puke:  :shudder:  You do it too easily BF, that's just scary!!  But when I watched overhaulin I did realize that they found the two prettiest people they could to host .......I keep tellin people that girl is my future wife, she just doesn't know it yet.........and I'd  :hammerhead: Danika too, she kinda turns me on in a wierd way.  But back to the subject,  from the ads on spike I got the impression extreme4x4 was gonna be more event/wheelin oriented, with real world builds, not no holds-barred builds.  It's just a  :stopit: version of Trucks, which I really like.  Atleast he's pretty real and doesn't alway try so hard to act and be funny like those two puppets........and which barrel did they scrape the bottom of to find them anyway?  Maybe I'm being mean, but the dude is a major goob and the chick tries too hard to be butch and act cool,  maybe if they were just themselves they'd have a decent show.  Now if you'll excuse me,  back to the little mermaid................Nate

Besides the show being lame, there seems to be only ten minutes or so of programing the rest of the time its commercials, I hate that! Also the host and hostess seem to be really scripted, do they really know what there talking about? Yeah they were at the Hammers, that was the only decent part all 30 seconds of it.

Hopefully they get something cool on there cause it does seem alot like the show trucks to me.  I think maybe if people IM ideas to Ian on the board maybe he'll get an idea of what extreme 4x4 really means.

It sure would be nice to see a show that covers more real budget builds, SAS conversions, locker installs,  etc...and quit with the Dynatrac this and the currie that, and the fancy pantsy paint jobs.  And then wheel the piss out of it...
