I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

You sure your not going to change the shackle angle? It looks a bit steep for the stage it's in.

Only a few months left to the roundup. You still planning on having it ready by then?

Finally got the motor/trans/atlas moved to the new shop and going to start mounting the drivetrain tomorrow.  Took a few pics of the cruiser before I loaded it up..

Just started working on the drivetrain install again..  Took some time getting everything tucked up high enough, but I'm happy with the results so far.  Still have to build motor mounts and a crossmember but everything is mocked up for the most part.

awhotrods

Here is the tcase without cutting the floor, it would have been a rock anchor!!  Also a couple pics of the tcase mount, should hold up to plenty of abuse ;)

awhotrods

Got the drivetrain mounted and everything finish welded, I'm going to start working on the shock hoops and Fox 2.0's next.  Still trying to get this thing done for the roundup!   :headscratch:

Its pretty quiet in the FJ world  :inthedark:  Just ordered 4 shock hoops, hopefully yank the tub and get everything sandblasted and painted before I start putting it back together "for good"  :_oops:

superyota

Hurry up and get it done. Don't forget the motto, "quick and easy!" lol! Bring it up here when you get back from Michigan and I'll help you finish it up.

P^3! Lol

Haha! Your right we need to liven things up a little around here! The rig is progressing nicely, cant get over the huge difference clocking the Tcase up into the floor made.

Quiet as always in the Marlin FJ world, worked on the cruiser this past weekend..  Trimmed out the rear fenders for tire clearance, trying to keep as much of the corner as possible for now..

Jaysen

What do you use to trim? So it turn out so clean?

I've been chipping away ar the 40 as time and money allow, picked up a used 8274 for 300 bucks, finish welded all the suspension/bumper mounts, mocked up the front end and installed the shifters.  Here are a few pics..

awhotrods

8274, going to put some work into this thing.  More pics to come..
