electical short?
« on: Jul 23, 2011, 03:10:09 PM »
I had thought my key switch had been a problem when I turned the key I didn't get anything. If I used a jumper wire on the key switch it would turn over. I then replaced the key switch, at this point I still have to use a jumper wire to turn it over. I had my ground for my cigarette lighter short and was wondering what could be damaged up stream? I replaced the melted section of wire. I have checked all my fuses and replaced a couple relays but still nothing.  :hammerhead: :inthedark:

does ya knows how many power leads come into the ing. switch? might be more than one hot wire.
if that's the case you've more likely lost power on one.  :crossed: need a wire diagram.
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:
