Hey guys my names Joey. I'm from South Carolina and I go to Clemson University.
I've been using the board for a while now, but I finally decided to join (I try to search as much as I can before I ask a question lol).
I bought an 83 4x4 PU long-bed on 35s back in January and its currently undergoing a timing chain and head gasket replacement right now.

Well my head gasket did blow, #4 water passage on the exhaust side, well my cousin (who works for caterpillar) talked me in to looking into the lower block having it that torn down anyways. Boy am I glad I did that the knock that was coming from my motor wasn't just the normal toyota knock it was a spun rod bearing :outtahere:.  I toyed around with getting a jy motor but I didn't like this option because you have know idea what your getting so I decided to find money, I didn't have, and rebuild her. As of right now I have had all the machining done and have asembled the lower block. I going with a rebuild kit and new head from engnbldr along with a 261 cam .
