so i bought this about 5 years ago (batt. power and solar charged light and usb port power supply) and had it sitting unused for a long time and would no longer charge, so my buddy Tommy (fordh8tr) took out the battery and added some clamps so I can hook it to my battery on my Runner and use the Solar charger to charge my Runner Battery and use the 12v LED's that came with it, just gotta add a volt gauge so i dont overcharge the battery on the runner.

these are the 12v bulbs that go with these cool lights, I run the lights off the (former) battery pack under the pop up, not to bright so they blind you as you look across the pop up, but bright enough to see everything going on . . . kinda cool thanks for the idea Fordh8tr (Tommy) :gap:

Sour Grass Trail just above Dorrington Ca
also called Pine Needle trail

everything worked awesome, the seat moved back 4'' made a huge difference in how sore my knees were at the end of the day, the sway bar worked flawlessly getting there and home, kept the Runner VERY stable in every corner

see my thread about the air tank, if your going to get something for tools you may want to go bigger than what i have, i thin kim going to go with a power inverter and use my electric tools.

Thanks, unfortunately I was on my way to work and I also dont really have a rig anymore, just my 91 fj80 which is stock and needs new tires. If I do end up getting something or fixing up my fj80 I would most definitely join you on some runs.

I've been looking at these Puma pumps, and the Viair systems.   Both you can get with or without tanks.  Look for pumps that are "100% duty cycle."  If you don't then you have to run them for a while, and then let them cool before using again.

http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/VIAIR-45040-Air-Compressor/p5060.html

They are tankless pumps, but if you want a tank, find small tank from a 120volt pump/tanks system with a bad motor/pump.  Can find these on CL for free all day long.
I also know some people have had decent luck with these cheap Smittybilt ones too.  http://www.amazon.com/Smittybilt-2780-2-54-Universal-Compressor/dp/B004K296N6

I have no Idea what I want Ryan, I know that I need one and I want one that will air up my 35's fairly quick, air tools are not on the table any longer, I forgot until Cody reminded me that I have cordless tools, then the wife reminds me that I will be bringing a Honda 2000 i Companion on every trip to run my CPAP so I can breath at night, so I can bring regular tools and use the Gen.  which kinda puts me on the outside of every campground I go to cause of the Gen. running all night, it's the quietest gen on the market so I'm hoping its not a big deal on the round up this year . . . . thanks for the info buddy :cheese:

My dad has two of those Honda 2000i generators and loves how well they work. They are amazingly quiet. You will be impressed. I would recommend running ethanol free gas in them if you can get it in the republic of California.
