clutch problem
« on: Jun 20, 2011, 06:31:00 PM »
few days ago my clutch master went. today went to the local parts store picked one up installed it bleed the :pokinit: out of it and still cant get it into gear.

specs on the truck: 1990 toy pickup, 22re,5spd

new clutch and slave cylinder was installed nov 2010

im at a stand still right now  as im running out of things to look out for.

when parked and no engine on, shifts fine. when the engine on no go.
also i know with these toys you have to have the clutch all the way down to start it. also cant do that, have to use the "clutch cancel"

also replaced the slave w/ a new one still notting.

any help would be great !!

Try adjusting the rod that goes into the master.

Try adjusting the rod that goes into the master.
i've adjusted that rod. also match it w/ the OEM one.

If the clutch pedal is going to the floor and you fail to trip the clutch/start switch then I would check for a broken clutch pedal or clutch pedal bracket.

Is the slave moving the fork on the trans. If isn't check the pedal stroke and bracket.
