Question about Google Chrome

 Just downloaded it a few day's ago, enjoying the speed but... I've noticed that it will not automatically load pictures that are posted on web-sites. Mainly forum's... so when i'm looking at the Marlin board on Chrome I have to save the pictures to look at them. Anyone know where this option is so I can change it so that it automatically loads the pictures on the page?

Good question that really irritated me so I stopped using it... trying to find a better browser that Safari.

That's how it loads faster by not loading images. It's not really faster it's a trick.

I had the same problem with chrome. Firefox works well for me

that would make sense Rocksurfer and i'm sure your right but pages load quicker with no pictures as well...

i'd imagine there has to be some way to turn this feature on?

it actually only does this on this forum. on pbb i never have problems loading pages with pictures on it. you can change it so that when you click on an image it will open and you don't have to download the pic.

Netzero has had this feature for a long time and yes there are ways on Netzero to allow full or partial image loading but it does slow the system down a lot.

 interesting, i wonder if it has something to do with the type of plug-in's this forum uses to operate.. maybe an incompatability type of issue?

that is odd. when I tried it, it loaded pictures on forums like normal for me.  I didn't really think it was all that much quicker, but i did like how stream line it was.  Only reason I had to stop using it was for work.  I had too many web apps that it just didn't work with.

for  me google is a million times quicker... it's ridiculous to think my 6 core processor w/ 8 gig's of ram can't handle IE9... lol

I've been using chrome for a while, only within the last month has it not been loading about half the photos on this forum. I have no problems on any other forums or sites.

Yeah I only noticed it on Marlin. Going to try and get used to FireFox as an alternative, I was not that happy with Chrome in general.

Has anyone brought that up to BigMike to see if there's a fix for it?   might just be a patch issue or something along those lines.
