i have done my time and now its time to move on to bigger and better things.

i am so excited. i have spent the last few years of my life (and i loved it) searving my country

and putting my duty ahead of everything including my family my friends and my desires

. If i had to do it all over again i would have

but it is now time for me to move on and spend time w/ my family and friends

. This country is awsome

and i now can say i truely understand why. watching my friends die $I\'m Down$ as i stood next to them was not something i am proud of but i know they were proud to die for what they belived in

. i just want to post this because i know alot of ppl know what we as armed forces members have to go through but alot of you dont

. the only thing i ask is dont think me think the ones who paid the ultimate price

to give you and me the freedoms

we enjoy.

Way to go 83. I wish I had gone into the Air force when I was younger. Mabe I would have been better off. I am glad that there are people still brave enough to inlist despite every atempt to scare the public into thinking this is a bad thing and not our problem. Better to keep them busy over there than to have them busy over here.

Sorry, couldn't help my self.

I spend a lot of time watching the real reality shows like the History channel and I think more people should, maybe more people would see how they got to be able to complain without loosing their heads.

If you can't remmember anything else remmember this. "All gave some, Some gave all" Live your life with the knowledge of your harritage and why we are the best country on earth.

Ok I have said my piece and will stand down, but I will support our troops and our Presedint in the efforts needed to keep the world safe as safe as it can be.

just a little thought an E-3 (enlisted A1C in the af) gets paid 1400 before taxes (yes we get taxed too) so you ask where do our taxes go? well i will help clear up just a little bit. to fly a c-17 (average aircraft taking troops to the desert) it cost almost 10,000 in fule in supplies. also the plane it self cost almost 9.7 mill that is not including the supplies and weapons the troops need to survive so next time you think about complaining about taxes just think if they let the war come to us they wont need to fly ppl over and we wont need the gear to survive in the harsh climate but then again you might have to get out of your house before you get shot. oh well just a thought

hey 83 thanks alot for keepin all of us, including the assholes who say that people in the military are stupid, safe. i've got a couple of friends over in iraq right now and another who is over on the border between n/s korea.

i'm thinkin about joining and i've got to say that its our tax dollars that are keeping soldiers alive over there. so those who complain about payin taxes, think fer a sec. if u had someone shooting at you but because people were refusing to pay taxes you didnt even have a gun? so those who complain about taxes
