I would skip the 180c and find a used Lincoln sp-175 plus.  Power is not a click type. Gas ready. We have one here and its amazing welder.  For the price its hands down best welder in its class.  Just a little hard to find at times.  There was one somewhat local to me for 325.00 wish I would had the money to buy it.  They go used for 500 or more but worth it.
Ive been able to get full penetration on 3/8 steel and thicker.  We also have a Miller 250 and it welds just as well as it.  The lincoln just doesnt have the duty cycle of a big welder which for most makes no difference.

The 180c is not a tap voltage, its the same as a the 175 plus
