another new guy

hi guy's been a jeep fan for years, but wanted a new challenge so i puchased a super clean minus the bed is gone 86 fuel injected im assuming short bed. i live in harrison ohio, which is part of the rust belt which is none to friendly to these trucks. it has ifs front an automatic trany,i also have an 85 parts truck with solid axles, the frame is toast on that one, but the drivetrane is intacted, an then i also scored a carb engine trany an transfer case out of a buddys yota that he is small blocking. i plan on putting the straight axles in my 86, then i want to do dual cases, an im hoping i can find a newer body style bed i can make work with my truck. any advice is greatly appreciated. thanks
