clutch noise need help
« on: Mar 05, 2011, 08:41:33 PM »
while wheelin the other day i ran my truck kinda hard on a nasty hill climb and now when i push in the clutch i hear a squeak in the bell housing.  any ideas? the clutch, throwout and pilot bearing are only 2 years old :dunno: the noise kinda sounds like an old spring being stretched and it even does it with the truck off. 84 toy 22R

So it happens when nothing is spinning? Just the clutch fork pushing the hub & bearing into the clutch fingers?

You probably scrapped the grease off the pivot point of the release arm.  shoot some silicon lube in there and see if it goes away.
