A steering stabilizer is a band aid for a worn out part or incorrect toe/caster. I'd fix what's wrong with the truck first.

I have run the Fox and Rancho. The Fox is a much better set up. It actually works. However there is one drawback on the Fox. Its a charged system much like their shocks and will have a tendencey to push to one side. You can either run two of them pointed in opossite directions or like I did and just ran one pointed to the left since most roads have a crown in them for water drainage the small push by the stabalizer helped keep the vehicle straighter.

In the end the amout of push was small and easily forgotten.

So I guess the steering was worn out from when they were new, they came with steering stabilizer.
