This weekend my engine hoist borke and dropped a 3.0 onto my steering stabilizer.  Needless to say, it dndt fare to well.  put a fat dent in it, and now it doesnt wanna work quite riight, doesnt like me turning.  Can i just put a small shock in there? or is it steering specific?  It looks like I could just take a small shock from a car or a small 2wd truck and be good.  Is that the case?

just go to auto zone and get a cheap gabrial, or use a rancho RS5000, I have one on mine I don't remember what the part# is but I can go look if you need it.

PS my truck is a solid axle, but I don't think it will matter it has hy-steer so the travle should be about the same. 8"s I think. :dunno:
Rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
