Bearing puller size RF1A 23 spline input bearing
« on: Feb 21, 2011, 05:13:32 PM »
Does anyone know what size bearing puller it takes to remove the input bearing from the 21 spline input shaft.  I got a 23 spline input gear new for dirt cheap and am in the process of installing it.  The transmission shop that I normally do business with closed, so now I think I'll just buy the tools I need to do it myself. :inthedark:

I got if figured out.  I went over to a friends house and used his bearing separator and press.  In no time I'll be upgraded. :driving:

Noice, thats what friends are for rite, tools? Hahaaa no but it sure does help  ive also used a c-clamp with a missing shoe in combo with a 1 1/4 open end and a hammer to smack the race. may take time but it works
I blame the automatic transmission for the wussification of America
