We just picked up this little beauty for $500.00, has a minor engine strip and they tried to burn it. When they started the fire they forgot that oxygen is needed to keep the fire going and shut the doors, once the oxygen ran out it put the fire out. Needs new seats and the top got damaged from the fire but other than that it just smells bad, not much smoke damage. We think it will make a nice project. They also took the wheels and tires so instead of putting the tires we had for the 85 on here for now.

The plan is to get it running 1st, cleaning up the inside of smoke damage, then a bunch of the usual stuff like lockers, gears, tcase, and a sas down the road. A lot was cut off like plugs and such under the hood and the lights but that's the easy stuff. Already replaced the front seats today and all of the engine bay parts that were took or burned. Took out the burned carpet also.

It's ALIVE!!! Got it up and running on Friday, has a strong motor. Needed an altenator, radiator, some intake parts, distributor and some creative rewiring. Fired right up, now on to the exterior lights and such. Looks like they were just about ready to pull the engine since it is missing most of the bolts to the transmission.

Very nice find.

The funny thing is they find us, all three of our 4Runners found us vs. the reverse.

Here's the current status, the burned interior has now been replaced and also all of the missing exterior parts. Been on the road as a daily driver and has had a few things happen. Evidently the thief's were in the process of removing the engine and had removed most of the engine to trans bolts which caused a minor separation of them, this in turn messed up the plates and clutch. The other day while driving it the right side ball joint said goodbye and almost tore it up. With those taken care of (replaced all 4 ball joints) she was back on the road in a couple hrs.
