Bald Mtn snow wheeling

Planning to take family out to Bald Mtn this Monday...does anyone know how much snow is up there?

went last weekend and did not get to the gate made another 100' feet of road thats it, there is a lot of snow and it's very dry it does not pack well good luck.

dang! wasnt able to make it up to bald mt today. wanted to go really bad! but soon, i wanna make a day trip up there.

My buddy backed out so I took my family to Shaver Lake for some family fun instead. I've been told snow wheeling solo is a Big no no. anyhow, it was nice up there...beautiful clear blue sky. At one point we all took off our jackets due to the SUN! It was warmer up there then in Fresno.

Yeah went yesterday there was a bunch of people up there only made it to the green gate

It was a gorgeous day on Saturday.  Trail looked great.  I can post some pics of the snow pack when I get home.  Our Cherokee is still in the Grocery Hauler stage so it did not see any action that day.  Sunday we hit rain on the way back home.  Not sure whats happening up there now.  Fairly warm storm.
