Something kind of somewhat related. Pics uploaded to the Marlin site are not working. I was looking through some old threads including my build thread, and there are NO pictures. I can download the pictures, but they do not appear on the screen in the thread.

BigMike

KDX, how old are/were those attachments?

Edit: The switch to a DSO PHP system broke many folder permissions and I thought I already fixed the attachment & avatar folders but I guess not. Uploads are working now finally :smack:

I CAN see your pointer bouncing around thing. maybe because it is a .gif?

The attached pics on pages such as this one: http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=40464.300 are still not working for me. I just picked a random page from my build thread.

Okay I will need to investigate into this more. Also I've been working diligently on the new forum but its requiring more time than originally estimated. I'm hoping for a launch by the 2nd week of Feb

I can see them with IE and Firefox with no problems on Vista, might be Google.

KDXSR5-

I've looked into it more and have verified that those files are in the attachment folder, so I don't think it's a folder permission issue as I originally speculated. I am not sure if Chrome has this feature, but try holding down one of your "Shift" keys while you click on the "Reload this page" icon in chrome (a F5 refresh won't work, you'll have to use your mouse). In Firefox, this will ignore all cached data and request the most recent files from the web server.

Order History is back. I will have to get back to you on pictures because they wouldn't load in Google Chrome and this computer does not use Chrome.

I have the newest version. I just checked for updates, and it said I am up to date. They are still not showing up though. When I load the page, the attachments show for just a fraction of a second, but then they disappear. I can get you a screen shot if you would like of what I am seeing. Just let me know.

I have also experienced this effect with Chrome.  I have however also noticed that if you right-click on the broken image link and click "Open image in new tab" that the image loads successfully in the new tab.
