Moron - Imbecile - Idiot

Today I learned something new.  I never knew the actual definitions of the words moron, imbecile or idiot.  Here's a little education if you didn't know either.

Moron: a person of borderline intelligence in a former classification of mental retardation, having an intelligence quotient of 51 to 69.

Imbecile: person of very low intelligence (IQ of 26 to 50), usually capable only of guarding himself against danger and of performing simple mechanical tasks under supervision.

Idiot:  a person of the lowest order in a former classification of mental retardation, having a mental age of less than three years old and an intelligence quotient under 25.

It's important to get this right or you might look like an ignoramus.

Sort of, I found another place that had the correct IQ ranges and they don't overlap as was shown on dictionary.com.  So I corrected the information as this is a very important topic.
