OK folks I'll start this off with a simple Description, but a few of build pics..
This is a Christmas gift for the Mom-in-law, a kitchen timer..
It's a kit...1 case, 1 battery holder, 1 Transistor, a buzzer, 2 Capacitors, 8 resistor, 16 LEDs, all controlled by one IC chip..

Still melting solder....

The buzzer has to be taped to the board for soldering or it will fall off..

Two spots of solder and everything is in place.

And now for the LEDs all 16 and they have to be wired correctly or they don't work...Polarity is Important for a diode..

And a long time later...

the battery holder..

 and the case..

And it's all done.

hmmm.  what do I play with when I'm not working on my truck?

Well, the forum rules state, "no nips, no lips" so I can't show you.  Sorry  :dunno:
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

RIP KYOTA

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

We spend a lot of time with our dogs. The rottie is doing good in shows and carting, the boxer is really good at agility and the chihuahua guards the house like no other ever could.
