On a first gen yota. I plan to do a 5 inch leaf lift on 35 and 5.29 gear.

What would you recommend?

-all around 5 inch leaf spring?
-4 inch front and 5 inch rear?

What and why would be helpful. Thanks

Thanks for the help.

I tried searching but did to answer my question.

I wanted mc f/r leafs but em are no longer avail. so I'mma change route to allpro. I did some reading but did not specify if it applies to truck (mainly regarding runners). Do I have to adjust for the weight differences just like runners with heavier rear end such as hardtop, glass, etc. such as using 4 inch leaf for the front and 5 inch leaf for the rear, does this apply to first gen p/u also?

Spoke to some local owners and a few of the stated that they much prefer using all around 5 inch leaf then having them off set.

What is best from you all experts besides using ruf and f150s.

Thanks for any input.

RUF and chevies or f-150s or you are just throwing your $$ down the toilet...  Keep you money in your drivetrain if you want your truck to wax! :)

NO you don't need to run a different size spring up front,  thats only for 4runners.  UNLESS you have like a utility bed that weighs a LOT

If I was you I'd run the AllPro 4 inch springs in the front and F150's in the rear using the spring hangers from Marlin or AllPro.

for the record, i have 5 inch AllPro springs upfront and F150's out back with and extra leaf to level it out.

F150's give a toy pickup 4 inches of lift

coyote with your f 150's are you using the stock shackle hanger location? it seems that your using short side forward which is what im doing and your shackle hanger doesnt seem moved back. mine is a short bed like yours and the shackle hanger cant be moved more than an inch or so back if need be. and iwould like to just not mess with it. thanks in advance.
