Howdy All,
Yup, like the thread says I have too many toys, (I hope I'm not the only one) I'm looking for an idea of what I should do, sort of a "What would you do?" response,  I'm sure this will generate a lot of interesting comments...

I'm not including prices cause that's not the intent,,,right now,,, of this thread, just fyi
Each toy I have, has kind of a pro and con/keep vs sell,  all with regards to my goal of just one toy (...maybe two...maybe all...maybe more...)
I'm really afraid of being that neck' guy with all the crap in his yard, cept their all perfectly maintained, built, modded and garaged, but I'm running out of room...

Right now my goal is to sell them and be into a clean, capable 22re (yeah I want the injection) 84-89 SAS runner by next summer,
Why?  For the family and me to wheel/camp/bike/family trail ride... We recently moved from FL to Eastern NM and, Las Cruces/ W TX.  looks fun.

06 Yamaha raptor: Great fun, big 3 mods, fast as heck, paddle tires, and now  :headshake: 136miles to the nearest dunes, 10 miles to a tiny little track, not so much fun cause I can't take the family, or it's mom goes out for awhile then dad, taking turns watching the lil one... Super fun cause it's a weekend/all day thing, the wife loves it but I can't just go with my quad friends on a whim and after 4 or 5 trips the wife either wants "payback" baby watching time or we all go time... me:Sell

07 Yamaha tw200: pretty much same thing modded a little, fun in the FL enviro,  the wife can ride it, I have always had day dream plans if making a frame mounted  holder for it to attach on the back of the dream camping vehicle... I can actually ride it to work, (if you have one of these bikes you basically permeate "I don't care what you think of me")  but It's not all that fast and trail riding locally is non existent, an easy sell in my eyes... me:Sell

06 triumph scrambler: pipe, jets, normal mods of course... I love this bike, too bad this ain't India, the wife and kid would ride to work and daycare daily with style,  I know I can keep it forever cause the Father and Bro in law both do the ADVrider thing, and I always wanted to ride through Yellowstone, something I've built a whole 3 page plan on doing,,, but maybe it'd be more fun in a Runner with the family now...  me:Sell

82 toyota pickup: currently in half, due to a weird case of only the back frame rot... 22r, weber, pwrsteering, hysteer, building new flat bed, and rear frame, 63's and a v6 rear,,, and no room for the 3 of us when it's done.  I could tow/trailer it when she's built to a trail head, but again no family room,  lots of fun in west TX areas not to mention camping with the guys, and taking the quad too, but the whole family thing.. me:Sell

anyhow... since this isn't pirate, and I have thick skin and a sense of humor your thoughts...
Cheers,

welcome to marlin from the oregon sand dunes....

sounds like you have a good plan...  I always told myself an 85 or an 89 runner would  be awesome, but somehow, wife landed on money, and an 87 4runner landed in my lap for 1500 bucks passing cali smog... havent regretted it till the HG blew, but its getting fixed and I will be happy once more
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
