Picked this truck up a few years ago.  Has rebuilt 22r, reapolstered front bucket seats and rear bench, a seriously bobbed bed, and on 35's.  Parts I have rounded up for it so far include a L52 getting MCO7 adapter for dual cases tomorrow :crossed:.  This is going to be a budget build up for my dad.  Plans include hi steer, 5.29's, spooled rear, aussie front, hydro assist, 63's, ruf's, exo cage to save to save the cab, and some camo green paint.   :gap:
Here are starting pics. I'll update as the build progresses.

yea, it's not exactly the length i would have done it.  If I come across a bed for cheap enough, i'll swap it out.  A longer wheelbase would be nice.  we'll see what happens

i'll measure the wheel bast this weekend.  would like it to be around 110 if possible.  i guess that will detemine what happens with the bed.

i've been throwing that idea around.  already have a full set of coilovers.  going to pull the truck up to the house over the weekend and start on it.  going to be a slow build, being i only have weekends to work on.

110" in your dreams. That thing is going to be a 130"+ :P

superyota

lol.  If it ends up being that long, its going to be on 40z+.  i think i'll be able to keep at around 110-115.

My truck is 115 and it doesn't have that MASSIVE cab. Are you making a "wheeler" or a capable vehicle for your dad?

superyota

a little bit of both. MCR this year really got him pumped up on getting something ready to wheel in.  it should be done and wheeling by mcr next year, hopefully sooner.

You should chop the top and make a soft top for it.  But either way, its going to be turning heads no matter what you do to it

yota4x4sc

start doing some work on it dude..get the pics flowing!!!!!

That thing is sweet!  I love it!  I like the tiny bed too.  I'm with Greeny...i'd chop the top of the extra cab portion and put a soft top on it.  I guess it really depends on what the inside looks like though.  Do you have any pictures of what it looks like in there?  Another option is to add a roof rack on the cab portion to even out the roof a bit....just a thought.  Either way, i'll sit and what to see what you do with it.

That looks like a first gen bed to me.  Is it not?  It may be a 2wd bed, but i think its still a 1st gen.

getting the parts ready for install.  so far, i have a MC07 dual case adapter, donor tcase, bud built cross member, 2 good doors(old ones had broken glass and no panals), refurbished bench seat for the back, and a fresh L-50.  Now just need the time to do it.  still need to get a ifs box, high steer, gears and lockers, tail lights, build a rear bumper, and some nice camo paint.  I should have time after KOH to start on it.
