PICKUP that wants to be a RUNNER!

i just bought an 87 pu and was wondering if i could really just cut out tha back of my cab slab in some 4 runner seats and a runner top and bondo the cab to tha bed and BOOM a 4-runner? and if not will 4runner seats bolt in the the bed??

  not sure i would bondo a 4runner top on .   anything can be bolted to anything though. not sure that the end result will be much to desire though .  I would look for a Samuri rear seat our even a jeep seat since they bolt to a flat surface like your truck bed . The 4runner seats  would not reallly work with the way they mount .  as far as tops i would just buy a camper shell that fits .  If you really want a 4runner just buy one and use the parts off your truck  to build up the 4runner .

lol i would but im 16 and broke as mess.hah. but ive herd of people dying from ridin in the bed of trucks with a camper top due to exhaust vumes would this apply?

I would not do this at all. If you really want a 4runner sell your truck and buy one, or trade. I traded a rusted up 87 stock ifs, with a crappy running valve ticking timing chain rattling motor for a 91 4runner with brand new headgasket job and tons of new parts. People always want to trade theirs for something else.

I would not waste my time. Bondo is like just using bubble gum its not right and will not last long. That is a wifes tail about the exhaust fumes. it would not be sealed up enough to get that way unless you rode from oregon to newyork straight with just a exhaust pipe running in to the bed.

yea, might as well just find a way to get a runner if thats what you want.  Dont masacure your pickup.
