Hey guys, my name is Spencer and I am the new owner of a toyota crawler. I attend Fresno City College just finishing up GE crap and plan on majoring in Diesel mechanics next semester in reedly.

My rig is a 79 toyota frame with a 89 body swap. Stock 22re motor w/ some type of dual chamber turbo muffler and the standard 5 speed tranny(Tranny model number?). 89 Rear axle and 85 front straight axle w/ burfield axle shafts, both geared at 5.29:1 and a Detriot Locker. High Steer kit with reversed Pittman arm, Dual Cases(Doubler) geared down to 4.7. Rock Sliders, Full body Exo Cage, Differential Guards, Custom Flatbed with LED tail lights, Delta Tool box w/ Gas filler relocated to inside the tool box. 2 KC off road lights on front, 4 rock lights wired to diamond plated switch board with LED lights in cab. Roof Mount CB with 4 foot firestick w/whip, 2 pioneer component speakers, and a 10" sub powered by a kenwood 350w amp. Originally has 35x10.50x15 Super Swamper Boggers but i switch those out for some 35X12.50x15 BFG All-Terrains.

Future mods: Rancho or Procomp Steering stabilized on either the drag link or Tie Rod(not sure yet), 8000lb Warn Winch, 20 gallon secondary gas tank and maybe 4 KC or procomp lights mounted on the Exo cage.

I plan on taking this bad boy into Urshem next year during deer season and hope to complete it without breaking anything ;)

All of my buddies and there friends have been inspired by the sheer awesomeness and efficiency of the 4 cylinder toyota motors and have since then gotten rid of their v8 lifted trucks for 4x4 toyotas. I had a v8 for about 3 years and i have to say i don't miss it(yet =P), i get around 18-19 mpg in the city and about 22 on the highway which is awesome coming out of a gas guzzling v8.

Since its my daily drive it has its perks. It is kind of a pain to drive in town(damn locker!!!) but it is still fun, and the mpg is great. Plus you get dirty looks from fellow prius drivers! haha
