TURBO

this pertains only to those still using the factory engine and emissions computer others disregard

Doc83 and i fixed a major problem last night on my 82
truck wouldn't idle...
turns out, somehow the connector pins in the emissions control computer circuit board, broke the solder and no longer had a good connection...

so if your truck dies every time you let it idle, and slamming the door "fixes" it check the computer

a quick solder job on the circuit board could be the prescribed remedy

The computer on passenger side? I hear a click sometimes by the glove box and my idle will drop slightly and my tach stops working.
