okay so heres the deal, i recently re geared my toyota. (im not new at this toyota business, so no im not just an idiot) i put 5.29's in it. the front end meshed up perfectly, the rear end tho seems that the driveline flange is about an 1/8" loose. so i bought solid pinion spacer shims thinking i could close the gap, but no fix. after dicking with it for a few days i came to find out the pinion spacer is in fact crushing, what it is meant to do, and the flange is just not seating all the way. it is really a brain stumper cause none of my buddies have ever seen it b4 and none of them no what to do. so b4 i take it to a shop and pay a butt load of money i figured i would turn to my fellow off roaders. pleasseeeee help! email me with your 2 cents. anything is appreciated.
