I got five speed trany with T-case for a hundred bucks, but no shifters, I was wondering though, I was in such a hurry, does it matter if it was from a 3.0?  I didn't ask the engine size, two different mounting positions with four bolts a piece.

Dingman.

They make an adapter so you can run that case but i would just get a top shift gear driven one to make your dual setup

That is what I plan on doing,  I should have caught it before I bought it, I will just rebuild and sell, unless you can use it for parts for yours. If you know someone else I will let it go for the same hundo I spent.

o that sucks..trash the 3.0 t case, chain driven,..the trans is alright but like bro said u need to  buy the adaptor just to run the 4cyc gear drive case/cases.. a lot more money overall if u want to use any of ur new purchase. i have that 3.0 stuff since thats wat my truck came stock with..to make sure its a chain driven t case count the bolts on the back of tail shaft part..there will be 5 bolts if its chain, 7 bolts if its a gear driven case.  :drooling:

Thanks, the guy doing my swap said he might have an extra one, maybe waiting for a family members ride, but yeah I'm not using it.  Only a hundred bucks.

Got the front axle completely rebuilt tonight.    Didn't get all the parts yet, only got half of them.   Still waiting on hangars, shackles, springs, shock hoops, brake lines and some other misc stuff.  Should be seeing some better progress soon.    I'll post pics of the axle in a few since I'm documenting this whole thing

I got the Iroks today, I think the 36's will suffice for my first toy, doesn't even count as my build because I don't know how to weld yet, Next one will be my build.  A bit delayed.  was told 3-5 business days, today is day 10 for business days, yes that means two weeks.  Still all parts not in.

No, too much work and when on phone on hold for too long.  I can try to email them, probably still won't get through until monday.  For rear I am thinking the mounts and shackle mounts and make those shackles like you were talking about.  Then I won't spend alot of money and make new ones if I don't like the heighth.

Awesome! We need to get them up here and mounted! Did you give any thought to the rear setup? We need shackle material.

I wanted to go after work today, but I got a job added and was too late.  Where has steel like that?  I was thinking about just buying a plate of steel and attempting to build my own bumper, doesn't seem like it could be too hard.  For the rear I think just go with the 3 in forward or so, my lead for the t case hasn't came through.  For the rest I will wait untill I get everything ready and on hand to do axles, gears and cases, square front d-line and hopefully work something for rear or have that one made.
