How did the u-bolts with the D-ring style swing mount hold up on the old toy axles?  I've never seen that done before.

they worked reallly good untill you roll doin 30.. haha they tend to break/bend when that happens. other than that they worked tits

New 4.7 23 spline dual from tg yes its tg i got a screamin deal from jay at yota masters on a new case set up and steering. If your in so cal anywhere close to corona ca hit them up great guys who know there Toyota stuff.

Burned it all in and threw some plate at it... the inside is also plated to the inner frame rail as well

Rear end I used a couple of 1 5/8 130 wall tube for the back of the frame. I still need to gussest and plate the outside of the frame about 6 inches past the cut line

Built some shakles to for the rear the other day too.. im planning on using ballistics 2.63 bushing ends for where the shackle will be bolting to so I can adjust ride height and dial in the rear as best as possible

I finally figured out what im going to do with the flange on the 70 and threw a triple drilled on the lathe last week to mill it down..
plan is to mill down the stock flange as flat as possible and tig on the moded triple drilled.. lol a little ghetto but it sounds good in my head haha

Pulled apart the front end a few nights ago...
pretty stoked to start puttin parts on this thing.

I still have a long long way to go but heres one my buddy took of some rear lowers for a watts link on a rat rod im tryin to build him on the side. I ended up only welding the sides so he can at least use it for mock up.
