Qualifications for Marlin Stickers
« on: Aug 03, 2010, 11:16:32 PM »
My brother saw the marlin crawler stickers that they sell here and he wanted to put one on my truck. Problem is that i have nothing on my truck yet from marlin.

The only thing that i think would make my truck worthy of a  :turtle: is that if it wasn't for this forum i wouldn't have a locker or the bumper i have now. Would that be enough for a marlin sticker?

If you have to ask, you don't deserve to run one.  :gap:

Its a sticker.  Its free advertising for marlin.  Thats why they send out a bunch whenever you order something from them.

When people in the know come up behind you with a MC sticker on your rig they want to get around you as quickly as possible so that they don't have to go that slow.  Sport the sticker.

Marlin makes such a great product, i used to have a friend with a jeep cherokee who ran one on each fender, that was one of the few stickers he had on there if i remember right.  He got some weird looks around town from both the jeep and toyota communities.  He eventually converted to the ways of a yota life tho.  He knows who he is...

i had a 3" one on my ranger till it got trashed so i took it off....

it is support for a company...... stickers are cool, just no like running tacoma stickers on a hilux, or putting on TRD stickers on your rear fenders if you don't have anything TRD ;)

What if you wanted to run a TRD Rock Warrior on your first gen?  Its a toss up between that sticker and the JRU Jeep Recovery Unit Sticker.

Heck the last time I was in there visiting and buying stuff, they were throwing stickers at me.  Chris H. in the office was throwing them by the handful at me.  I think there was fifty in the box when I got home.  :rofl2:

I rock one on my ifs runner, had one on my ifs pickup, had a huge one on my sas'd 91. Why not support a american made product company that stands behind their craftsmanship, even if the only marlin product you own is a sticker, still rock a sticker. Gets the name out to the guy next to you.

I still run a "GOT MARLIN" sticker on my truck even though I have nothing, not even a shiftknob from MC.  I run a longfield sticker too yet I don't have anything from him anymore either.  Why?  Because they are two of the best companies on the market plain and simple. Just because I sold/traded/upgraded from their products after spending thousands of dollars with them doesn't mean I don't support them.  They back up what they say with no bs or chinese garbage and I'll always respect them for it.
