Happy Birthday!

Thanks for the birthday wishes everybody!  Was supposed to meet a friend at 4am to go salmon/steelhead fishing, didn't get done gettnig ready till about 2am and didn't see a point in going to bed just to not be able to wake up, so I got in a 20-30 minute nap before leaving.

Didn't catch either, had a very clean salmon on for maybe 3 seconds, caught a small trout, and had a great day so far!

Was originally supposed to be a ride on the hwy 36 loop with a quick stop to urinate where I crashed, but the bike sits like this right now and I have a laundry list of crap I'm going to do to it while it's down:

oil and filter change
clean air filter if it's needed
swap chain and sprockets
check and adjust steering head bearings, front and rear wheel bearings
swap pipe for my clean pipe
coolant flush and swap
check spark plugs
swap gas tank
paint front fender to match bodywork
and the killer, check and adjust the valves if needed.  Hoping they're in spec since they're shim under bucket  :shudder:
oh yea, forgot to add adjust the manual cam chain tensioner

Thanks man!  Yup, year seemed to go by pretty quickly, maybe because there's been soooo much less drama in my life with the new job.  Can't wait to see where another year has me
