Can you explain more of what your setup is like? Lift springs? longer shackles? tire size? etc and post up some pics. We might be able to help you better.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

A stock 1st gen long bed shaft is still short if I remember right.  Ill try and remember to measure it tomorrow since I have a 85 x cab sitting here and my original drive shaft from my truck.

get rid of that 2 piece POS, measure from the output flange of the t-case to the input flange of the 3rd and take get a single piece driveshaft made. you could probably salvage parts from the 2-piece so you'd only need to pay for it to get re-tubed.

And I don't think it will bolt up, I think they are different bolt patterns

I finally got around to measuring my old stock rear drive shaft and fully compressed its 57"s since I run 11/2"s out on the slip yoke it work imo up to 59"s before you would be to far out on the slip. Whats the length you need from flang to flang ?
