Could you post up how the gas tank was put in the tool box. I am unsure on how to mount the tool box and the fuel tank within the tool box. I have been wanting to do this for a long time, but I am not sure where to run the lines and stuff like that. Any help would be most appreciated and awesome. Thanks.

Hey BIGTONKA,Thanks for asking...The tool box is a LUND brand,built a angle frame to set the tool box in to.Welded to the frame,cut a hole in the bottom of the box , inserted the stock gas tank, replumed fuel lines, spliced in electric, cut a hole for the filler cap and..........BAM !!!!!!!!!!! your done.. :yesnod:  :yesnod: Will post pic, if you want this weekend......  :greengrin:

I'll try and get my piece of shiat finished next week after Christmas..I got the radiator pulled out tonite and installed the FJ-80
master cylinder I got from Marlin... :yesnod: hopefully have it rolling for a New Years day snow trip... :beerchug:

Relocated the rear frame tubes today for better shackle angle.

hey locktup im kinda new around here but it seems like you know you stuf, and it sure damn looks like it. for a while now i have been thinking about bobbiny my 4runner i was wondering if you had ever done it still being able to use the stock top shortened and re-fiberglassed? any info you could help me with would be killer.

I've only done the bodies not the tops. If you do a search I am almost positive I have seen a couple of posts on how to do it. Try TrackVino he has a clean 4Runner but I don't remember how he did his top. After mine is painted I am having a black canvas top made.

Steve O had a small steering issue...have to love those stock Toy tie-rod's.. :hammerhead:

that looks like my uncles property, out in colfax, off of red dog road, or something like that, i used to live there, he still owns it all :thumbs:
