Dang its almost tempting to sell my 82 1st gen and complete my 79 1st gen.   Prob not gonna happen but its a thought and bump for ya.

I take it your looking for a DD/trail rig ?  There is ton of great starter trucks out there right now.  Go to pirate I believe there is a few decent toyotas for sale.

Mine will likely be for sale in a few weeks when I get it smogged.  87 4Runner with a lot of daily driver repairs/fixes/mods and so on done to it.  MC transmission.  New Thorley header, cat, and exhaust.  Loads of other new or replaced stuff as well.  (few gremlins of course - nothing major) Passes(or will pass) smog and A/C even works - cause it's been my only vehicle for almost four years now. ;)

But I got to get it to pass smog first and get a job closer to home (no truck close would be nice or maybe something I can ride a motorcycle to)  Probably sell it for $2500 or so.  Perfect candidate for IFS swap.  Would love to see it go to a decent home. (it's great, but at 23 years old, it's not capable of handling 25-30K a year in Los Angeles traffic any more(or my back isn't to be more honest - heh) - I need a 1997-2000 Tacoma instead.
