Rocksurfer

Most everyone I know stretchs them for better stability. Power steering, crossover steering if you lift it to eliminate bump steer, bigger tires kill the already lack of power so go with a diff gear change and while at it lockers. Missing links worked well for me I had them f/r with no issues. GSRII tcase will help you crawl and an engine swap to a 1.6 single or twincam should be on the list.

If you stay under 31's you should not need gears. Some people will tell you you'll be ok with 31's and stock gears. I don't think so!! I did it and did not like it at all, it would barely do 60 mph and was geared way to high for any kind of trail other than a moderate 2 track. I would look into the 6.5 tcase gears. I did that with my 31's and loved it. That also gives you the ability to run something like 33's later on. check out the zuwharrie.com forum and search CJ/ RUF. I have this lift and loved it. Great flex, great ride and cheap if you do it yourself. And you can get some tsl's in 31's, I think they even make boggers.
