new suki questions?

so i just bougth an 87 sami and i really dont no were to star5t. ive always been into toyotas and now i have this and dont no were to start  any suggestions??

Most everyone I know stretchs them for better stability. Power steering, crossover steering if you lift it to eliminate bump steer, bigger tires kill the already lack of power so go with a diff gear change and while at it lockers. Missing links worked well for me I had them f/r with no issues. GSRII tcase will help you crawl and an engine swap to a 1.6 single or twincam should be on the list.

thax guys. the tirexs that are on it are like 30s or somethin like that. he said he had 31s and it wasent near as good. but if i did want to go with 31s how would i go about changing the gears in won of these toys and does super swamper make 300 inch tsls and boggers?

If you stay under 31's you should not need gears. Some people will tell you you'll be ok with 31's and stock gears. I don't think so!! I did it and did not like it at all, it would barely do 60 mph and was geared way to high for any kind of trail other than a moderate 2 track. I would look into the 6.5 tcase gears. I did that with my 31's and loved it. That also gives you the ability to run something like 33's later on. check out the zuwharrie.com forum and search CJ/ RUF. I have this lift and loved it. Great flex, great ride and cheap if you do it yourself. And you can get some tsl's in 31's, I think they even make boggers.
