flat pitman arm?

well i'm gonna be getting hy-steer setup and what is the advantage of a flat pitman arm? or should i just the standard one?

everything i've found is people wanting to buy/ sell the flat pitman arms
is hy-steer any harder or different to set up with it? or should i just use the regular pitman arm? i'm gonna be running chevies and ruf
