So, where did they find your truck?  Did they bother to dust for fingerprints.   With all the stuff that was taken off the truck there is bound to be some prints from the thief somewhere.

That sucks.... A budy of mine had his 85 4runner stolen. They did the same thing. They took the motor and the tires and wheels. There weren't nice when they took the engine out either. They cut the harness and they stole his wintch but everything else was there. I'm glad you guys found it.

They found in livermore on coronado way. They must have stripped in their garage and then just pushed it down the street. I ve driven though that neighbor a few times expecting to see my rims and tire on someones truck. Livermore PD dusted the whole truck and had no luck. They wiped the truck down with some chemical to get rid of the prints. Im just glad to have it back and am ready to put it back together.

You would think that the brown interior would help narrow down potential culprits.   There can't be many of that color from a 25 year old truck left around, and in good shape.

Dan,  That is great news you got your truck back.  If I could only be so lucky.  I'm already working on a replacement and no doubt, its a Toyota.  This one is definitely getting some theft protection.   For sure a ignition kill and something a bit more painfull, like pepper spray or electric shock.  I'll have to think about it.  Again, congratulations with the recovery.

flopp man, that totally blows. I'll throw in for the replacement parts donation.

I've got a center console (grey) out of a 91 runner you can have.

I can probably get you a set of rims, let me look into it.

Nah, Was thinking they might be buckets...mine are trashed.   Now that I've lost all the weight...my, now boney, ass hit the seat frame through the worn out padding and it hurts to drive it.  :o
