Starter purchased at Pep Boys.  I think this is the 1.4kw part.  But not sure. (Lifetime warranty). $40

Alternator purchased at Autozone (lifetime warranty). $40

These are newly remanufacuted and I them had as spares for my 87 Turbo truck.  They have been boxed in my garage for two years.
