Rubicon Memorial Day Weekend 2010

There's going to be a group from High Road Enterprises going up to the rubicon for memorial day weekend... Was seeing if anyone else plans on going up for the holiday weekend..  Hopefully most to all the snow will be melted off by then..

Right know im thinking its gonna start clearing out nicely, last storm brought a little more snow and rain but should be sunny and hot from here out.

i'm not sure yet if steve is going or not. i think he said something about moonrocks and the rubicon...i really depends on the snow level and weather...
this will be the first run on the new rig so it should be pretty fun..lol

i've been checking out the cal trans traffic cams near tahoe.  seems to be some snow in the higher mountains, but not much lower.  here is link... pretty cool

on conditions on the trail. This year looks to be on the scale of the early 80's for snow on the trail late in the season.

looks like we will be heading up friday night.  been keeping an eye on the pirate forum with all the photo's going up and its looking better.  just replaced my axle seals and got some waterproof boots incase we end up hiking into some places.  i'll be sure to take lots of pics and post up when we get back.  only 4 of us going so it should be a nice, laid back weekend.  if anyone else is going and wants to meet up.  we will be meeting on the second dam at loon at 9am saturday morning to head in and we will all be on channel 4 on cb's.
