I so want to go and do a Eastern Oregon photo trip.  And just get old oak trees in the fields, and old barns!!  And in B+W too!

Those are water tanks. The Iraqis don't have a reliable water system,or none at all. So they put a tank on their property and fill whatever way they can,we would see them scooping water out of canals to take home(the rural people),some villages had a water spigot the women would line up at with their pans or dishes,even in the cities they only sometimes had water,so they would put a container/tank on the roof to store water. Nothing was manufactured in Iraq,so the tanks were brought in from neighboring countries.

I don't know what the bags on top of the tanks are.
