Visit either samoa beach or along the road to the south jetty and you'll see plenty of forts like these right along the beach or hidden in the little rolling hills.  Not usually that well built, but the hippies sometimes come up with some decent little temp homes

Reminds me of a labrador retriever we fostered many years ago, who was the perfect cure for tailgaters. He'd bark at anyone who got too close, and I never saw a tailgater that didn't back off after that!

Working on a big maple, 36" in diameter. That log was 8 ft long, was pulling my truck around when I dragged it down the hill. Counted the rings, it was at least 100 years old. There is another up there that is over 40" in diameter, going to leave that one.

Neighbor let a guy go in & cut some firewood for the gal living at the house for the winter. His real purpose was to steal figured wood to sell. I put a stop to it but not until he had cut 2 large trees. Kicked him off the property. Now I am recovering the wood. Big trees like that are really more hassle for me to process
