I stole borrowed it from another forum, where it has been identified as a hyperhydrophobic material, and as hydrophobic sand.

I see the term a lot.  What is "a poker run"?

An organized event usually put on by a club. You have a specific route you drive, and along the way you pick up a card here and there. The cards are in a stapled envelope so you don't know what card you have until you get to the end, and the event staff open the cards. There are money prizes for 1st through 3rd place. Some runs you get all 5 cards at the end instead of along the way.

I won this March 1st, had 3 aces, a king, and a four.

A Poker Run is where you have a pre-set or designated route along a trail or network of trails with five check-points along the way. As each vehicle passes each check point, the driver is given a card at random. After all five checkpoints have been reached and the driver has returned to base camp, he presents his five cards to the registration booth essentially entering his 5-card Poker Hand. Whoever has the best hand at the end of the day, wins!!

It's all in good fun and it's cool to have some objective like that where you have to reach all 5 check-points.

Sometimes the winning hand is lousy, because other higher ranking cards went to people who might have broken down on the trail or never reached all 5 checkpoints for some reason. So not only are the cards random but also the chance of winning "seems" random too :yupyup:
