Might I suggest keeping it that way?  It is not at all funny, and knowing, what's his name - Alan Alda? - to be a whiny, sniveling d-bag, his character acts nearly the same.  Not worth your time.  Or my time, I don't know what yours is worth  ;)

MASH was written as a tongue in cheek to protest the Vietnam war.  Love it or hate it, it's one of my favorite shows I like to watch.  Yeah, the series ran too long, I agree.  We all have differences, some people think that Duck Dynasty is the greatest show of all time!  I think that Duck Dynasty is the worst show of all time. 



There is alot of little references of Vietnam that pop up in the show.  Like in the picture, the helicopter in the background is of a Huey, not a old Bell like what was in the series.  Huey's didn't come out till Vietnam.

MASH is still my favorite show. As a kid when I heard the theme song come on I would run out of my room, through the house and slide up in front of the tv. My kids love it too.
