has anyone heard of Datin fab? they say the make things for marlin crawler? is this true? i just ordered some stuff from them 2 weeks ago before i knew about marlin, and they didnt  even give me a ups tracking # and i cant reach them on the phone or e mail I think i got hose'd! i am Pissed!    those guys are

Is this thread a joke?  You guys can't be that ignorant, can you?  I doubt anybody got screwed, and NOBODY got scammed    Datin Fab absolutely does make some stuff for Marlin, All pro, tg, and undoutbtedly more companies.  But you have to be smart enought to ask when placing the order who what is made by.  If Datin makes it and I need it I'd buy it, but since they do distribute tg I'd ask before buying.  They do also sometimes list if it's made by them or tg.

it cant possibly be all done in that small of a building and still do installs.  they do have a tight nit circle of fabricators near by.
All of the transmission rebuilds and differential work is done right there by MarlinCrawler employee's

I have also ordered from Datin without issue and would use them again.  They are a metal fabrication business and make some things themselves, such as brackets/tabs/gussets/shock mounts/axle armor.  Other things they are a Trail Gear dealer.  Depending on what you bought it could either come directly from them, or be drop shipped from TG.  If it is something they make and are out of stock it may explain the wait, doesn't forgive the lack of communication though.

Well what he has posted is not slander by any means. It has been roughly 5 yrs. since he has built parts for us and he does state he "has made them " for us. Currently these pieces are being made for us by a local fabricator.
