Anyone know what direction I should take in determining why my truck has a very low idle when I restart the engine after just being turned off for a minute or two (or even 10 minutes).
Cold start is fine. However, there's a point during initial warm up during driving that the engine idle dips too low, and then once the engine is definitely fully warmed up it comes back up to normal idle.
I guess I just need to start checking everything, but just thought I'd throw up a post in case someone else has had a similar problem? Possible causes: Thermostat, Engine Temp Sensor, Idle Air Valve, Vacuum leak, EGR, other, all of the above!?
Truck runs really good, although I think I sometimes notice a slight bit of hesitation at lower rpms.
