3rz long block (feeler)
« on: Mar 15, 2010, 09:39:53 PM »
My neighbor has a 3rz he wants to trade me for some side work on his truck.

It is a 97' 3rzfe with 95,000 miles. It ran fine when it was pulled. Not knowing anything, he had a local parts changer type shop put in a reman longblock because of a failed smog test due to a rich fuel mixture. The reason for the rich condition was a cracked exhaust manifold causing the O2 sensor to create a rich condition. He had all this done before I knew him.

This is just a longblock with no accessories.

I will be performing a valve check and adjustment if needed, before selling to prospective buyer to ensure quality. I am an ASE certified Toyota Tech.

I am trying to be as honest as possible and not leave out anything. I will get pictures up as soon as I get it out of his garage. Should be in the next week or so.

I was thinking $700 (edit: price drop to $600)

Let me know if interested. I can speed up the process if you want. I can also deliver up to 100 miles from Sacramento.
