5.29's F+R
Lock right rear, open front
3.0 V6, 5 speed
High Steer
4" YJ's in front
63" chevies in rear
35" BFG KM's

nice rig, i always wanted a burgandy 3rd gen x-cab. also i always wanted a dark blue 85 x-cab ever since i was a little boy and grandma came home with an 85. i now own grandma's 85 with a few stickers :greengrin:

$250 used front axle hub to hub

$650 spring hanger, shackles, High steer

$250 long travel front driveshaft

$200 front 5.29 ring and pinion with install kit

$70 ventelated FJ 60 brake rotors

$80 stainless steal brake lines

$100 misc gaskets, seals, felts and hardware for rebuilding front axle.

$50 wheel spacers (normally $100 but purchase used from fellow wheeler)

$70 Rancho 5012 shocks  (should have bought the 9012's)

$200 front spings and bushings

total:  $1720

Money well spent.  Took me two years to save for my SAS

Yes and it works great with almost 200,00 miles on original U-joints and center support bearing.  Did have the rear section retubed last summer after some trail damage from a weekend on the rubicon.

Here are some updates. I finally got a DD a few months ago. After memorial day and the 4th of july trips to the rubicon my sheetmetal isn't as straight as it once was. Also got a new housing ready to install by gusseting the knuckle balls and steering stops. Also added some ring gear protection. Its pretty much run of the mill stuff but let me know what you all think.
