So im bored tonight, the little one will not go to sleep... There are already lots of pic threads on this board but i didnt see any 2wd threads (wonder why) but being that im a yota nut.... lets see dem 2wd whips lowered, lifted, or stock lol.....

I will start, first off with my 85 pu, loved this thing, was fast ah hell and actually hugd the road  lowered 3"f-2"r 22r 5spd....

unfortunately some a hole decided to back into my drivers side door/cab, pretty much totaling it....  He gave me 600 bucks i parted out the truck for 500 lol... paid 250 for it originally so i made out ok...

next up was an 82 flatbed, got a smoking deal.....  was a cool little truck that i bought for the engine but i decided to DD it for a while....  also had (prob swaped in 22r 5spd)......  felt like a Mexican arborist driven it through the big city with the racks on lol (no offense to mexican arborists)

Then i got this fun lil 76 for free......20r 5spd lol.... ran so awesome decided to use it as a toy before i pulled the engine..... took it out and played with it in the sand....Funnny the looks you get driving a piece of rust with a straight piped stack and 12" wide tires through the middle of town lol

and yea, i got stuck right out of the parking lot.... sand was really soft and i forgot to air down.....

so it may be a stupid thread..... let it die or whatever... kept me busy for a couple of minutes

You still got the flatbed?  I've been kicking around the idea of one.    :headscratch:  Where do you live in town?  One day I need to see what you got part wise and are willing to part with for $$.  Or Mountain Dew's!!!  :eyebrow:

I ended up with a 2wd p/u once.  That was after I wrecked the ex-gf's!!     Then Al Fountain ended up with it, and he sold it to Brian Hatfield.  Don't know if you ever saw it.  We wheeled the crap out of it, for the two months we had it!!  :rofl2:

Im picking up a 2wd tomorrow... then putting a 4x4 frame under it... and doing a SAS in a few months
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

bleakhorizon

actually thats what i was assuming this thread would end up being lol

Don't even go there!!  :shake_head:  At least he isn't tuning up his open exhaust ford at 2 am anymore.  Some of his neighbors are just about ready to call the cops on him, and his drones.

Nothing beats a little 2wd to run parts in or haul dirtbikes back and forth!!  Heck i'm even starting to think they are kinda fun to drive and bordering pretty cool, depending.

Here was my first, originally a dirtbike hauler...

Then i felt the need to go fast with it...

Unfortunately, it never got finished and i ended up parting it out.

I bought this one about a year ago, 275,000 miles and ran like a raped ape!  Carb'd 86, 5spd, daily drove it to work and back about 70 miles a day without a single problem.  Sold it about 2 weeks ago to pickup an extra cab, I'm 6'6" and the single cab was always a little tight for me anyhow...

This was the extra cab i picked up, made it about 40 miles before throwing a rod!  At least the guy let me keep the sweet dash carpet (his name wasnt Garcia either, but he got a "great deal" on the carpet)...

Luckily i didnt pay much for it, and to top it off the guy i bought it from actually offered to give me some of the money back towards fixing it.  So i met him today, got the cash from him and about 20 minutes later was driving this little gem home.  Super clean, minus the obvious, 145psi across all 4 cylinders and sounds/runs phenomenal!  Honestly one of the best running 22re's I've ever driven!  Gonna swap the drivetrain over into the extra cab then part out/scrap the rest of it...
